CYCLO ALUMINIUM SPRINT WHEEL CARRIERS Very good condition - these attach to the front wheel spindle and allow two wheels to be carried out to races - time trial or track mostly and very common in Britain in the 50s and 60s. Great little accessory. $15

LYOTARD 460D ALUMINIUM RATTRAP PEDALS used but in excellent condition with negligible wear to the cages. $25

DUNLOP SPECIAL LIGHTWEIGHT NOS 26 x 1 1/4in 32/40H rimset. Very good unused condition. The Dunlop Special lightweight rim design was launched in 1935 and was in production until the middle 1960s. Until the late 1950s they were pretty much standard wear on top end British classic lightweight bikes - rims like the Constrictor Asp were always an extra cost option. Despite being steel they are pretty light - some alloy rims such as the solid section Constrictor Boas were actually heavier! The 26in size was popular until the end of the 40s by which time the 27in size had more or less taken over. $95

FRENCH QUALITY RATRAP PEDALS NOS with solid aluminium centres and chrome plated steel plates. They are in excellent condition with very few marks and the bearings feel perfect. They are French threaded hence only $30

GB COUREUR BRAKESET from between 1954 and 1957. The first version of the GB Coureur was introduced in about 1951; this is the slightly later version with plastic bushings (these are in very good condition) dating from between 1954 and 1958 before the model was replaced by the Coureur Plus. The Coureur brakeset was GB¹s top brakeset at the time intended primarily for road racing with the quick release on the calliper. This set is complete with the correct GB Superhood levers. This set is in very good condition; one of the callipers has been highly polished and both brake levers have also been well polished. $95

FREJUS DOWN TUBE TRANSFERS - varnish fix down tube transfers. $15

COLORAL MINI RACK NOS - practically perfect rear rack/saddlebag support. These are exceptionally rare. $45

STRONGLIGHT 3-ARM CHAINSET 1950s Lovely rechromed cranks with very clear Stronglight stamping 50/47T double 3/32in rings $95

BLUEMELS FEATHERWEIGHT PUMP Excellent condition 1950s/60s 16in long $25

EVEREST GOLD SLOTTED CHAIN NOS 3/32in NIB The last one I have - I thought it had been sold but it hadn¹t. A great chain for any 70s road bike, stiffer laterally makes for a better change with older derailleurs. $35

COLORAL DOUBLE BLUE ANODISED BOTTLE CAGE NOS A lovely cage, a few small marks $95

CAMPAGNOLO C-RECORD 36H SMALL FLANGE FRONT HUB NOS complete with skewer. A few very minor shop wear marks. Truly lovely. $55

THE PENGUIN BOOK OF THE BICYCLE by Rod Watson and Martin Gray 1978 333pp This very underrated book covers cycle history, the contemporary scene at the end of the 70s (mostly in Britain) and has a superb chapter on the contemporary cycle British cycle industry. This includes interviews with Dave Moulton (before he went to the US), Reynolds, Raleigh this is a long section covering company history, contemporary production and details of the Ti-Raleigh team and their bikes etc. Slightly scruffy cover hence $12
