Hello list

Just picked up a nice frame for free. A Chesini ca -80-83. Columbus SL and very nicely put together. Engraved seatstay caps, headtube, fork crown. Chrome right chain stays and fork. Very good condition and no apparent damage. Was laying in a garbage container!! Will take it to the police and hopefully I will be able to pick it up from there in about a month.

My question is: The frame has the text "thre times world champion" (in italian). Does any one know when and ridden by who(m)?
