. . . .and I quote from the red (list correct) Sutherland's manual under "useful combinations that do work" pg. 2-3a "Maxy-type axles can be used to place chainline farther from the frame with Stronglight or TA cranks." Maxy-type is the original Japanese SR taper style copied from Campagnolo. It's the same taper used with 99% of BB spindles, including Suntour. Personally I've used my TA cyclotourist cranks for many thousands of miles over the last 10 or so years on many different spindles from various nationalities. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives SB, CA
