A stash of about a dozen classic "Specialites TA" front racks has been unearthed by archaeologists in the jungles of central California. These particular racks are unusual, when I compared them to the other TA rack I had on hand, I found that these new ones are somewhat heavier gauge wire, slightly larger, and just generally a bit more solid in execution. Also they have what appears to be a lamp bracket which I've not seen before.
The catch is, they are rusty. 15 minutes with some #00 steel wool and WD40 returned my TA rack to gleaming like new condition, as shown in this picture .
There are a dozen or so of these available, and the price is $12/each, $20 for 2, $28 for 3. Such a deal!
