As I remember, the limit was a 96" top; most riders used a 52 or 53 x 15 (I think -that was a while ago!). I still have a 15-19 five speed SunTour block from those days. To check, I remember officials "rolling out" bikes. Is this still in effect? I don't think there was any restriction prior to about 1975.
