This isn't an inquiry on techniques but materials for latex and materials for butyl.
I ask because many shops carry "commercially acceptable" patch kits of which I am suspicious both of the thickness of the patches and quality. One purchases a high quality, supple tube then, to patch it with a thick chunk o' rubber seems foolish.
Which companies make good patches?
Any brands extremely good for latex tubes (clincher) ?
Does any company sell a bulk kit (that is more than merely several patches) so I can catch-up on patching the many punctured tubes whose respective repair I've been putting-off?
Does any company sell tubes of good glue? ( I don't know how many kits I've replaced for reason of dried tubes.)
I've used Rema (I believe this is correct name) but can only find these in a small, on the road kit.
