I believe the phenomenon of interstitial bonding is a distinguishing characteristic that differentiates brazing (including silver brazing or silver soldering) from bonding with glues. Any of you engineers have some learned insight on this?

I know there are some specialized adhesives that incorporate metallic components and heat application to achieve instertial bonding.

Steve Barner, who has overheated too many joints in Bolton, Vermont (14" of snow on the ground are helping to stiffen up MY joints).
