Kevin,
I have a Curt-built Riv A/R. Trust me-you will not regret a single nickel you spend on one of his bikes. Not to start a thread here that was on the iBob list, but between Curt's lug work and a JB paint job, that bike lives in my living room when not being ridden, 'cause I just love looking at it all the time. And the ride is like silk. I can't even begin to explain it.
Tell your wife-go for it. Whether she gets it straight from Curt or a Riv, she will never be sorry she did. Let me know if you want to see pix, I will be doing some digital shots next week that I can email to you. But once again, as you said, not that they will do it justice.
