Magistroni and Exceltoo were expensive high grade components before the sixties.By then,they were in decline under Campagnolo,Stronglight and so on.Back in the forties and early fifties,the catalogs and cycling magazine ads clearly indicated M. and E. as the choice stuff. Interesting how T.A. was rarely on team bikes,but has a long loyal following.Started around 1948.
