I finally got around to reading the RR25. Great reading, very appropriate for the Silver Anniversary Edition. It would be hard to say which article I enjoyed most, after the Sheldon Brown interview--by the way, not too many 50 somethings that will admit to following in Timothy O's footsteps, even for a brief misguided adventure; gutsy move Sheldon. The snippets about bikes was very interesting. Grant, I'm still thinking about your comment that the rake doesn't do anything for shock absorption--good point on the paint.....The camping bike, lost wax method of lug making, flyer on the Atlantis, were all super. I was going to order some more sleeveless wool shirts, but my wife saw dogwoods blooming today, so I don't think we'll need them many more weeks here in Florida, but they are great to sleep in. If Rivendell could meet non-profit organization status, we could probably gather enough tax deductible donations to pay off the debt!! Hang in there. Our generation is going to come into money one of these days!! Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
