I was amazed at how the number plate became the key to figuring out who it belonged to, and how this opens the possibility of getting the history on the bike. Not to be a wet blanket; but are you sure it was meant to be sold? Probably it wouldn't have been stored where it was if the owner or family had meant to keep it. At least I'd keep my own bikes separate. Just a possibility that occurred to me. Hope it turns out well for you.
