Anyone familiar with the relative quality of high flange Exceltoo Super Competition hubs? I'm wondering if they are of similar quality to the Normandy Luxe Competition models. Any ideas on the approximate date(s) and longevity of production of these hubs and general Exceltoo information would be appreciated.
I've a wheelset built up around these hubs with trashed Super Champion serrated wall tubular rims and will probably recycle these hubs with some nice french rims. Not sure if the rear is french-threaded or not. Probably is french because that'd be much less convenient...
