Subject: [CR]Question on Campy NR brake block holder/tire guides

CR Listers:
I have a set of Campy NR brake calipers and have a question regarding dating of the brake block holder/tire guides. I hope I am not being too anal here, but I was informed that these brakes are from 1973. They are"long" reach, have block lettering and the brake holder/tire guides are coated in black "plastic". When did the tire guides become plastic coated? I thought it wasn't until the later 70s as opposed to the early 70s, or just when was the cut-off point? Again, pardon the analness, but I sure would like to know. Cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT
