I used them on my tandem with wide tires - true 32mm - always inflated to about 90psi (6 bar when using European gauges). Even with lots of baggage, we rarely had problems with pinch flats and certainly never had a tire blow off the rim. On the other had, once we switched to Wolber Model 58 rims in 700c we had many more problems with tires not seating properly. This seems to be another one of those cases when people have had widely divergent experiences with the same product. Perhaps it has something to due with quality control or production tolerances? Otherwise I can't explain it... Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
