I had quite nice Durkopp track bike from the 30's - wooden rims and an adjustable stem much like a Major Taylor but unique in design (made by Durkopp?). I bought the bike in Montreal - where coincedentally the great German 6-day pair of (Gustav?) Killian and (Klaus?) Vopels had won the Montreal 6-day race (in 1931?).
At the time I was after a Canadian made CCM Flyer track bike from the same era (like Torchy Peden would have ridden), and when one came up the Durkopp was sold on.
