Subject: [CR]1972 Mirella frame available

I have a frame and fork I'd like to offer to the list before I put it on ebay for a friend. It's a 1972 Mirella. I worked in a shop that sold these and I recall they were pretty nice, medium grade bikes. The seat tube is 58 center-to-top, top tube is 57. My recollection is it's Columbus, it has Campy long drop outs, chrome very long point head lugs with big cut outs (so you know it's mitered, unlike some french frames), chrome fork crown and chrome drop out faces. The original owner sprayed it "rattle-can" black some years ago, so the paint isn't much to look at. He was not a "cyclist" so to speak, he rode the bike as transportation around San Francisco for some years and switched to a mountain bike for the position and gears. I can measure the angles if someone wants and send pix. Frame set with Campagnolo steel head set (2 flat, Gran Sport?) and Campy 26.4 seat post is $150. Offers considered. If you want to pick it up to save shipping, that's ok too. Email me off list if you're interested.
