Hold your horses ! I know, you're all rushing on this one. These are the famous italian Universal brand that we all know and love, but they are not the classic 1960s rectangular hoods, or the 1970s Campy-type hoods. they are from a line of brakes that universal had in the 1980s. i have no idea what the model name is, but it was very hi-tech and aero, and these hoods are for those brakes. In practice, you can put these hoods on the Campy NR type brake, but it is not aesthetically appealing, although it is functionally fine. Hoods are white rubber, and have the word Universal on both sides. If you don't want to jump in the pool, try 10 pair for $30 45. mid-1980s Campagnolo front braze-on derailleur (not sure of model, perhaps Athena), 20 for $85 or $10 each 46. Used 1960s Team Faema Bertin. This is a very seductive bike. Bear with me here. Something about the colors and the combination of components just makes you want to jump on it and ride, no kidding. Bike is a 1960s Bertin, Reynolds 531 tubing, in Team Faema colors from the 1960s. That's white with red headtube and panels. Some of the decals have suffered a bit from stand-clamping, since there's no topcoat over the decals, but condition of finish and chrome is excellent. There are plenty of little nicks, but no dents, and the overall effect is fantastic. Size is 53cm c-c. The bike is missing wheels, saddle and pedals. We've all got plenty of those lying around, but if you need those items, I can dig something out of my used parts bins for a bit extra. The frameset has no dents or crash damage. It comes with Stronglight headset, TA bottom bracket, TA 170mm cyclotourist cranks with double rings, Simplex prestige front and rear mechanisms, Belri handlebar and stem, with original red barwrap that matches the panels, Weinmann 500 sidepull brake calipers and matching levers (mounted on bars). Comes with Nuovo Record 26.8 seatpost. I can send you a picture of Merckz riding these colors on a Bertin in addition to pictures of the bike I'd like you to buy. This bike is screaming "make me the classiest cheap-ride you've ever bought". Take it away for $430 quick before it goes to ebay ! 47. reynolds 531 tubeset, NOS, no fork blades. It's about time for you to practice your framebuilding technique ! $90 48. Reprints of vintage posters: a. Le Cyclone, Cycle sans Chaine, Milders Fils. 19"x29", mounted on foam-core. Excellent condition except for a nick in the lower-right corner. Features a big-moustached fellow wearing a funny hat, next to a strange chainless bicycle, $25 b. Howe Bicycles Tricycles. 19"x29", mounted on foam-core. Excellent condition. Features another big-moustached fellow with strange hat, with a scarf tied around the hat blowing in the wind. He's in the middle of a strange tricycle with huge wheels, looks more like futuristic tractor from an HG Wells story. $25 c. Acatene Velleda. 25"x33". These are two identical posters mounted on both sides of a thick piece of cardboard. You could saparate them ,and have them mounted each on foam-core, and then you'll have two identical posters. The condition is a bit rough, with tattered edges and plenty of tack-holes. Still, extremely nice, don't worry. This features a Nordic goddess-type with long braided red hair, ready to summon Thor down from the Pyrenees ? She is pointing to a chainless bicycle. Above the bicycle is an eagle with bicycle chains in his claws. Above the eagle is the sun, which has the motto "Vae Catenis", which, I'm gonna take a stab at this, must be latin for "Go away, chain". At the bottom is the factory address "17 Rue St. Maur, Paris". This is a nice poster ! Now that I've described it, I almost don't want to sell it anymore ! $25

49. Weinmann Carrera brake levers. these are basically SR copies from the 1980s. Supple gum weinmann hoods (can be used on NR), drilled weinmann levers, real nice. $35 per pair 50. Campy NR front-skewer copies. These are NOT campagnolo. However, the lever portion is identical to the older straight campagnolo levers, with beading around the edges, and a nice big acorn nut locking the lever into the body. They say "Open" "Close" on each side respectively. $5 each 51. Obscure car-rack/mounting jigs. OK, I have to describe these, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about after the description. These are three pieces. One looks like a fork, and takes a front wheel. The next piece will fit between the dropouts of your bike's fork (you clamp the fork into place). The third piece cradles your rear wheel. The bottom of each of these pieces is shaped to mount on rectangular-shaped car-top racks, or to 2x4 pieces of wood in your pickup or in your garage or other storage area. Includes nuts/bolts/wrenches. These are just $8 for the complete set. Take 10 sets for $50.

52. Original Campagnolo ball-bearings, part # 2103. These are 5/32 size, 48 balls per package, for most Campagnolo pedals from the 1960s into the early 90s. They fit all pedals except for the titanium-spindled versions. This is also the size used for the track headset, except you need 25 +25 for the headset. These packages are factory-packed in batches of 25 packs (of 48 bearings each). NOS, Get 25 packs for $25. 53. Campagnolo COLORED synchro inserts !!! I can't believe I have these. These are for the Synchro shifters of the early 90s, probably the most astonishing engineering feat of all time. Colors available are red, blue, black, white and green. NOS, $5 each 54. 6 used alloy kick-stands. 4 are Esge/Pletscher, one is "Bulldog" the other has no name. They all seem to be identical. One of the Esge is missing the upper-clamp plate. All work fine, are a bit scratched-up from use. Go for it ! used, all 6 for $20. 56. Rivat winter cycling shoe. Size 42. Hard-plastic sole, leather trim, thick deep-blue nylon mesh, lined with sheeps-fur !!! condition is dusty and shopworn, but new. $20 57. Brancale traditional cycling shoe, size42, lace-up, leather and thin black nylon mesh, subtle red/white/green logo stripes, $20 58. NOS Selle San Marco Ergo Roccia saddle. Seems to be a mountain bike saddle of the mid-80s. WIde and padded nylon mesh, chromed rails, $10 59. NOS Selle Italia "Lady" saddle. Very very nice leather padded saddle, has almost the exact same shape as the Brooks women's saddles, very wide at the rear, but with a thin long nose. Has loops for saddle bag. $20 60. NOS Denza Unicanitor-copy. This is an Italian plastic saddle with chromed rails. It is the exact same shape and design as the Unicanitor plastic saddles, with three nice holes down the middle. There are loops molded into the plastic for a saddle bag. This is the ultimate commuter saddle, impervious to the effects of the elements. Make no mistake, this is a very sweet saddle, and at this price, don't hold back ! (several available), $8 each 61. Unusual Raleigh fork, I'll describe it. Perfect NOS, for 27" wheels, Tange tubing and dropouts. Double set of eyelets, blades 2/5 chromed. Lugged crown. Crown drilled for brake, but also, cantilever bosses are on this !!! Steerer is very long, 8.25 inches. Fork is deep coffee color with gold outlining of crown. Decals (nice red and gold) on sides of blades have the Raleigh bird and the word "The Raleigh" underneath. Crown is unprepped. Condition is NOS with minor nicks to paint, but truly a looker. Can someone tell me what model this was for ? $30 each. Also have 2 available that have had the cantilever bosses removed with a flame, so you might want to repaint those, at $10 each. 62. mid-1980s Campagnolo plastic bag. I know, when you're selling plastic bags, you're in way over your head. I only have one. It is slightly used, from when I purchased my first C-record bits and pieces. It is 15x21, white with blue graphics, identical on both sides. It says, "Campagnolo" in script, then under that "Campagnolo Spoken Here", then under that it has twelve rectangles with the mid-80s symbols for the components, and under that the words "Graphic Symbols of Campagnolo Products". You could frame it ? $10 63. Biemme neoprene winter booties. Medium $8 each, small 10 for $15 !!! The way I use the smalls is I cut off the heel and use them as extra-long toe-booties. It works ! 64. NOS Winter wool Cyclist's cap, deep blue (Campagnolo blue, actually), with the words "De Franceschi" embroidered in front. SIze medium, $35 65. Jerseys a. NOS, Red/white wool, INOXPRAN Team, with logos for Campagnolo, Cinelli, Formsport and Selle Concor, size 2, and you know these stretch and were meant to be form-fitting in those days, so buy it ! If you have a medium build or smaller, this jersey will be very flattering, but no bellies please. $45 b. NOS, Sergal wool, red and white with thin blue stripe. NOS, 1995 Russian Team jersey. all-red (of course). Scwinn Pennant-string. This is a long string with LOTS of triangular pennants. It's intended to be strung from your shop to a lamppost on the street, on within your shop, or your garage, whatever. you remember these because of the racket they make when the wind blows through them. Typically seen at "grand-openings". graphics as-above. Don't know how many pennants there are, or whether there is one long string or several shorter ones, but there's LOTS of pennants on this thing, at least 50. Rip it apart and use each pennant separately, or use the whole thing as-is. New, in original marketing wrap, unused, $30
