I have just received a '70's Viking frameset (Thanks, Thomas). The original finish is so far gone that I can't tell exactly what it may have looked like originally apart from blue with a white seat tube panel. Any photographs of similarly painted Vikings would be most helpful. Any Viking owners out there?
It has neato wrapover seatstays and Zeus dropouts. No braze-ons at all so I'm guessing early '70's before Harry Quinn was involved. Were these sold as bare frames or built up in the U.S.? Any suggestions on likely components for the build would be appreciated.
This one definitely isn't going to make the 2002 Cirque...
