OK, fresh batch of vintage forks for sale. These are all hi-end Raleighs (execpt one), but since figuring out the dropout/crown/chrome variations makes me dizzy, I'm just going to describe them completely and you will know if it's what you need. Here goes: ALL forks are 531 tubing with triangular 531 decals, the Carlton appears to be 531, but has a Carlton Race Approved decal instead. 1. Campy dropouts with eyelets, square chromed crown with triangular cutout and downward-pointing arrow-like detail. Falmbouyant green, 2/3 chromed blades, gold outlining of crown and filled-in triangle on crown. Minor oxidation to chrome on one blade. Steerer is 6 and 7/8 inches. No evidence of skewer clamp-down or headset installation. this fork is NOS. Exquisite fork ! $45 1b. EXACTLY as #1 except dropouts have NO EYELETS. Does somebody have a database on the insane variations in hi-end Raleigh forks !!??? $45 2. Huret dropouts with eyelets, sloping crown, 2/3rd chromed blades. Flambouyant coffee color. Steerer is 5 and 3/8 inches long. NO skewer clampdown or headset marks, NOS fork. $35 3. Huret dropouts with eyelets, sloping crown, 2/3rd chromed blades. Black color with lots of nicks. Steerer is 5 and 7/8 inches long. NO skewer clampdown or headset marks, NOS fork, BUT has more shopwear than the others. $35 4. Carlton race-approved fork/decal (no 531 decal). I guess this one is NOT a Raleigh fork, but a Carlton fork. Campy dropouts with eyelets, sloped CHROMED crown, 2/3 chromed blades, steerer 5 and 11/16 inches. Appears NOS but shopworn, minor oxidation to chrome, nicks to champagne blue paint, $20 Mario Girasa, Cambridge, MASS
