An acquaintance who owned a Confente bike, always used a Regina Ti chain and an aluminum alloy Regina freewheel (it was his Sunday bike). By 1980 he could no longer find the chains through the normal channels.
Additional note: The same period when a Regina ti chain cost $150 as noted by Aldo, a Confente frame cost $445 and a California made Masi cost $400!
