Could someone repeat a brief history of the Campy chainhanger?
I guess my recollection is that this thing came out very briefly in '79 or so on frames with extra rear dropout spacing to accomodate the rear part hanger, and that the drilled dropouts that went with 'em hung on for awhile after that, albeit on bikes that did not have the extra spacing. Is that correct?
Anybody know what year they came out, and when the holes in the rear dropouts finally went away?
