After all the discussion on all sides of the French/British "issue", I just recieved a very cordial reply from Bruce Robbins regarding their list membership. I hope after all the back and forth the past few days we all settle down. At the Cirque, there was a sense of community, with everyone being so cordial and nice - an atmosphere that sadly, does not prevail, when back in the "real world". I hope we can all get back that "Cirque" feeling and all get along on the list.
