Hi Gang: My 1984 U8 came equiped with a Union generator, The head and taillight must be Halogen ,since they're quite bright, I have also heard that any generator bulb will blow at excess speed,but at age seventy this is no longer a problem for me. While we're talking about lights, I'am looking for a battery operated taillight that would be period correct for my 1977 Record Ace. If any of you have one for sale please let me know.
