My favorites list - not all are in the timeframe for this list though:

1 - Custom Rivendell - top of the list, waiting for mine to be finished.

(rest of list is in no particular order)

2 - Cinelli Laser.

3 - Alex Singer.

4 - Columbine.

5 - Trecia - Amelio Riva's personal custom ti bike. Almost everything on this bike was modified to some extent. A rather bizarre bike but definitely interesting - seems to me I first saw it in an Bicycle Guide article in the late 80s. Anyone else remember it ?

6 - That clear coated Masi Prestige that Dirk Feeken showed us a few weeks back.

7 - Custom Brian Baylis.

And on, and on...

I like this thread! We have done this before a couple of times but I think this is so much fun seeing who has what old bikes in their "movie in their minds." So now that I have to say that, I will have to think of my own list... I am lucky to already have a number of what I consider the most desirable bikes ...Baylis, Sachs (x 2!), Hetchins (x 6), Hurlow (x 3!), Herse, Picchio, McLean/Silk Hope (x 3!), Maclean, etc.

I guess I really would like older bikes (1950-60s) - an early Cinelli, - a De Rosa and Colnago that were possibly made by the maestro themselves, - a nice Singer, - ditto Routens - I was mightily impressed with Chris Kvale frames....
