Why do we spend soooo much time trying to authenticate/verify the provenance of our bicycle equipment & then settle for repro brake hoods???The interest in repro hoods doesn't ring true to the cause.I understand these & other items do & will wear out.Why not take the originals off your bikes & use the already available alternatives in the marketplace as riders.
You won't see me spending a dime for a WANNA BE !!!
