I was in England at the end of May and took a little side trip to York. It's got an interesting old section, including the York Minster cathedral. In the old York Castle there is an interesting history museum. I took the following photos there, including the one pic of a reconstructed hotel front advertising "good beds for cyclists". My kind of place! It underscored the importance the bicycle once played in transportation and even vacations when cars were expensive and the cycle was often the only way to go on holiday.
