I have two generations of Gran Sport and an early Record. Although the upper
and lower bodies are non-magnetic, the parallelogram arms are a ferrous metal
(they hold a magnet). The bodies are undoubtedly bronze as it was a lot
easier to cast the complex shapes of those pieces with bronze.
