Not a good idea, as the oil continually seeps out of the hub ends and is a real dirt magnet.
If you want to do it, the weight and brand of oil is inconsequential as you'll be doing it a lot (the re-oiling and wiping off the dirt stuck to the oozing mess as it works it's past the hub flanges on it's way down the spokes and out to the rims and onto your braking surfaces and then onto the tires and down to the road surface for the next guy to slip on and crash).
