Subject: [CR]Campy steel Freewheel cogs vs Campy Track cogs???

Hello,

I have a Campy 12T 1/2 x 1 1/8" steel cog that fits the threads of NR LF rear hub. They are marked <C> for Campy ... This is not a alloy top cog for Campy 1980's freewheels (I own several).

Why do Campy NR LF freewheel hubs accept this Campy 12T track cog when a true Campy Track lockring has a different threaded size? Were different models of Track hubs produced? Were "adapter" track cogs made specifically for freewheel hubs? I find no mention of this in any of the Campy catalogs that I own.

Thanks, Steve
