Subject: [CR]Tips on organizing a Swap Meet/Jumble?

Somehow there seems to be a real lack of swap meets or jumbles anywhere near here (Ottawa, Canada) so with this in mind I mentioned it the other day at the local group ride and a number of folks expressed interest. So this got me thinking that maybe I should just take the initiative and see about organizing one myself.

Does anyone have any good tips on organizing a successful swap meet? It would not be vintage specific, only bicycle specific.

The on topic part of this is that I hope to be able to load and unload vintage parts at this event (as well perhaps as upgrading my current race rig, a '93 Marinoni).

Please send notes directly, I'm not sure if the list needs this discussion, although I may post a summary of all the points for discussion by veteran swap hounds/sellers.

Cheers,
