Amongst Mr Stones booty is this crankset...

http://ebay.com/<blah>

How early are these and can one still find chainrings to fit? I ask because I was offered a Mercier on the weekend with the same cranks but it had been well used.

TIA

Warren Young Toronto ------------------ Those rings are pretty easy to buy. Velostuf has them NOS, inexpensively. http://www.velostuf.com/price_list.htm I bought some 2 months ago, possibly a lifetime's supply ;-) FWIW, as a 3 arm crank, I am told the rings can be flexible........this only matters if you have two of them up front, and are a bit ham-handed shifting. I use my cranks on a fixie, or just one ring with a seven speed rear, no problems. Gorgeous cranks, buff up really nicely.
