Boyer's Coors Classic Confente sported a pretty patriotic "Captain America" paint-scheme, decades before Ernesto honored Freddie Rodriguez with a Star-Spangled Domo Bike. Likewise years before Eddy listened to his wife, Claudine, suggest that a "Stars and Bars" Team SC was a fitting tribute to the victims of 9/11. So did Gios miss the boat by not painting the Brooklyn team bikes with a similar motif? Who cares, the Gypsy would win and the bike was covered with that delicious mix of Paris-Roubaix road grime and manure!
Bob Roll has way too much Mojo. He could sell it as Viagra, and I'd buy it!!!
