my frail and all-too-human memory tells me that 'mojo' was black magic voodoo hex/spell etc., usually invoked by individuals like muddy waters and jim morrison, both of whom were exceptionally poor cyclists, in spite of the fact that they got their mojo workin'.

if memory serves, jim morrison once curled the upper left part of his lip when someone once rode by on a colnago, although again, my memory is sketchy on this. it could have been a huffy. also, he was drinking beer.

anyway, I am thinking so seriously about buying my third--wait--fourth colnago. is anyone willing to go along with me and say that, regardless of ernesto motives or the number produced or the dubious or otherwise location of origins, some of the old ones--even the new ones--ride like a dream?

I think so. but it doesn't make me like bikes like brian's, richard's, dave tesch's, albert eisentraut, etc., a single bit less. for a fairly large production house, the bikes often have a bit of soul, don't they?

we'll wait on the determination of inherent mojo!
