I know, this is probably fruitless (after all, aren't we *all* looking for clean Nisi rims??)...however, I'm hoping someone here will be willing to part with one.
Yes, one. Well two. Not matched.
I'd like to buy two different Nisi rims, I need one of each, *not* a matched pair of each (if you have a matched pair to sell, let's talk!)
1) I'm looking for an early 1970s vintage Nisi sew-up rim. What must have been their standard road rim of the time (came stock on Colnago Supers). Polished aluminum. Requires spoke washers. No stickers that I know of. Stamped *NISI MONCALIERI
TORINO-ITALIA* This stamping right next to the valve-stem hole. I need just one, in 36 holes. If you have one in 32 holes I can use that too. A matched pair of either would be great, but I ain't holdin' my breath for that. Just a single of either would be fine.
2) I'm looking for another Nisi sew-up rim. Late 70s/early 80s. Quite similar to--but not the same as--the one above. Polished aluminum; requires spoke-washers. No stamping anywhere. Came new with the following stickers: winged Nisi sticker; gold sticker that says "for professional use only" or some such; and finally, diamond-shaped silver sticker on the opposite side of the rim from the valve-stem hole, that is printed *Nisi* in script, in red, with a thin red border.
Both these rims, early and later, were quite light and had lightening millings between the spoke holes in the inner cross section--where the tire glues. You know the ones I mean, I'm sure.
I'm willing to trade, or pay cash.
If you have one or both of these you'd part with, or a matched pair, please e-mail me privately.
Thanks much!
