When I first started riding, around 1976, I got my PX10. I started riding with the local racing club & tried a few races. Another newcomer to the group rode a Gazelle. It was most definitely a "road" bike. I saw this guy recently & he still has the bike, along with several others. Wants to keep it too. Richard Rose (Toledo, Ohio)

month or so ago. I recently received this 70s vintage Gazelle racing frame.

> There's little information on the web about Gazelle, save that they were
once the largest Dutch bicycle manufacturer, and built a lot of sturdy
speeds and single speeds. It also seems they were acquired by TI for a time
in the 1970s. Can anyone tell me more? Has anyone seen a Gazelle racing
bike? Mine is Reynolds 531, has nice long point lugs with cutouts, campy
dropouts, mostly clean brazing, and a beautiful leaping gazelle embossed in
the fork crown.
