The Bramptom was biult under licence from Sturmey Archer ,I would guess sometime in the 1950/60s. It is infact an AW so you should find that Sturmey bits should fit. Hercules also did a version I have a few parts if you get stuck

Subject: [CR]Brampton hub

I picked up an old (steel)Brampton hub with a metal oil filler cap savaged from a old wheel. It is stiff so I added oil. Is there anyway to identify what type it is. How should I rehabilitate it. Where do I get a shifter chain/cable and lever from. Will standard Sturmey Archer parts work? What years were these made? Brian B warm in Berkeley
