Gazelle are very well known in Europe and make really good well thought road bikes as well as more pedestrian bikes. When Fiets the Dutch cycling magazine tested a full size range of one steel tubed Gazelle road frame about six years ago, Gazelle had been very clever and with careful choice of of tubing gauges managed to build the larger sized frames stiffer than the small frames. This I think is a remarkable achievement for a large but very well respected road bike frame maker. I think they now only make aluminium frames but distribution in the UK has always been a bit poor.
