i know many listees were taken down when photopoint.com suddenly vaporized. classic content-many of us had pics of our treasured masis and other vintage bicycles stored there for cyber-sharing. what a downer when the site went to dot.com heaven. well, i'm pleased to report that i just received my 496 images on two cds, thanks to P2's offer to its clients-the offer to provide a one time access to their stored images. i never kept my images after i emailed them to photopoint.com so i had no backups. that was my mistake. but i was happy to receive an offer from them to get the images back through a one time offer. i finally have them back. i'll find other ways to share these with the list.
please-no threads about the bad, bad photopoint people. i was upset when they went down. all i cared about was getting back my images. for the fee they collected, it was well worth it for me.
