Sugino made a couple models of these and I'm sure they predate the Mexico crank. One was the Super Maxi crank with a swaged-on spider. The other cranks were the higher quality Super Mighty's which may be my favorite cranks. I've also seen steel cranks from WAY back that have not only hollowed spiders but also hollowed arms. Nothing really new with the Mexico crank except that Campagnolo did it. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Not so sunny, in fact very overcast Santa Sarbara, Calif.
