LPS 3 is what I used BEFORE Framesaver was available and I've never used it since. I remember the first time I used it on a frame, I sprayed way too much of it into all accessable areas, and set the frame aside in the shop for a couple of hours. The liquid stuff had stopped draining out when I began assembling the bike. The next day I took the bike out for a ride in the summer sun. By the end of the ride, a runny mix of Campy grease and LPS 3 was pouring out of the BB. The LPS stuff was dry/gummy in the air conditioned shop, but not in the summer heat.

No discussion neccessary; Peter Weigle Framesaver and nothing else. Like I've said before, "Less filling and tastes great". Seriously though, everything else simply comes down to compromise. Honestly interior rust is not a problem of extreme magnitude in most cases; but nothing like some cheap insurance for that collectable bike. LPS-3 doesn't even come close and it's value as an interior coating for frames is nothing short of rediculous. It may work as a mental massage if one was a cheapskate; but it would probably do more good if you sprayed it in your ears.
