My recollection of the Italian GCs I saw then, is that none of them had
tubing stickers on them. If Masi was mixing tubes, stickers become a little
problematic. It doesn't look good to have one sticker on the triangle and
another on the forks. "well, what are the stays made of?" would come up ad
infinitem. Masi was building a brand. My guess is Faliero made a conscious
decision to leave the stickers off the GCs.
