Do you like the way see looks now? Ride her first then, if you still like her and want the new paint,consider it.Not blasphemy, just Mondia. 1) if I remember right,french can not be rethreaded. Period. 2)Get the Phil and be done with it. Those boys have tapers to fit everything. Campagnolo bb cups MIGHT work w/zeus even dura ace (forgive me) but why bother? What kind of cranks? 3)See "3" 4)Just treat the frame with Peter Weigle's "Frame Saver" If you don't ride in the rain tons, you will be ok for@ 10 -15 years. Whatever you do ,ride her lots and enjoy.
