I agree. The 1939 Bianchi (Vittoria Margherita derailleur) I have uses the same lugs (long points with keyhole in each side) and seat post binder location (top and forward of seat post) as Carsten's Folgore. Definitely a pre WWII _style_ Bianchi.

The post WWII Bianchis had plain long point lugs and seat post binders behind the seat post.

But with WWII intervening, and Bianchi not getting back up to speed after the bombing by the US Army Airforce until maybe 1946 or so, I could believe this might be a couple of years older than the 1949 date given but still post WWII. Or pre WWII. Or even 1949, since I'm no expert...

Anyone else with impute?
