Hello gang,
On production fillet brazed frames, Alex Moulton started his spaceframe this way in 1982 and perhaps on some models earlier. At one time they made a 1000 a week I was told. ( Classic Content)
Today they still work with Reynolds 531( Classic Content) , and some other exotic Japanese (Classic, yes) tubing. Their top line products are in aerospace stainless steel again fillet brazed with silver( Classic Content).
(Slightly Non Classic warning) Current production is relatively small at less than a 1000 units per year (still production more or less) with some custom touches aimed at what Alex like to call the upmarket. I was told that by builder/engineer there a few years back their New Series space frame takes 100 hours to complete. I hope they have speeded this up as we sell the complete bicycles for less than this production cost with components!
I think Page 12 of the current Bicycling mag has a Garret Lai story about the top model. We import and sell lots of them. The racks and carriers are French style with classic gracious curves but other wise a bit wild.

Alex used to say if you are the sort of cyclist that owned more than a couple of bicycles (anyone out there like that) then one ought to be a Moulton.
