Hi Richard, As you correctly guessed, the Internationals of that period were equipped with Campy and Weinmann. Specifically, the Campy NR group, but with Weinmann centerpulls (with the white brake hoods). For a bike that will be ridden, I'd still try to get the Campy NR parts, but don't be afraid to pick up parts with some miles on them. The NR parts are still widely available, especially if you don't mind some wear. For some parts, you can buy modern stuff (Brooks Pro saddle), or stuff that looks like the original, like the MKS road pedals that look very much like Campy pedals. T.A. produces some very nice SR style chainrings. SunTour freewheels still show up on ebay, as do some Regina's. The stem should be a basic GB (has the GB logo stamped into the sides) with a hex head bolt. For a handlebar, use anything that fits the stem and is wide enough for you (except for the infamous AVA's).

good luck, Steve Kurt just a little ways away in Peoria, IL, with two Internationals of my own (pics are at photos.yahoo.com/kurtsj00 )
