Jim

We shipped a 1890's era bike to a customer in California that UPS nearly ruined. The California guy said he would repair it as well as possible and was willing to settle for a reasonable price. It seems to me that the person at UPS I talked to saw her job as preventing me from getting paid. I found out the direct line to her desk and the direct fax line to her desk and called her each day and told her I would both call and fax her each day until the reasonable settlement was paid. I was paid within three days of initial contact. The squeeky wheel gets greased.
