Is anyone familiar with Bonhams in London? Bonhams is the new identity of the merged firms Bonhams and Brooks and Phillips Auctioneers. http://www.bonhams.com In April '02 they held an automobilia auction with a lot of bike stuff, mostly early ephemera, safeties and ordinaries, but according to the results, some items of interest to this group as well. They show an Alex Singer selling for 1,400 GBP, a Claud Butler tandem for 50 GBP, an Alcyon for 140 GBP, plus several path racers. Anyone here pick up any of these bikes?
