I've known Jeff and his work for a number of years, and have wanted one of his beautiful frames just as long. In central Iowa he is a well known builder, but his frames are somewhat rare due to his low volume production. I saw two fantastic touring frames he built for a tour of the British Isles. One for his wife, and one for himself. He had just repainted an early Raleigh Pro for me. I know we had a thread recently regarding "restore vs. preserve", but this frame was really beyond preservation. Since Jeff has a real affinity for old Raleigh Pros, he faithfully restored it to the exact way it looked when new...better maybe. Jeff is legendary for his frame building among the bicycling community in central Iowa. Who knows how many Master builders there are like him in the United States? I'll bet there are more than we might guess.
