Were there ever any lugged steel Vitus bikes ? I remember seeing some time back that you could get lugged steel Look frames made from Excel (I think) tubesets - just wondered if Vitus offered anything like that.

These were discussed on the list earlier this year and the consensus there was that small were great, 56cm was the maximum size that was really good, 58cm and larger were considered too flexible. Also weight and pedaling style affects flex. So if you're a small, light, smooth spinner, it's great; if you're tall, heavy, masher it's not.
