I remember seeing a row of bicycle repair shops in New Delhi, India where nothing is ever wasted and anything is re-buildable. Bicycles that are made there are indeed just like the British machines from pre-1947. Cars and motorcycles resemble pre-war Morris Oxfords and BSA's; indeed they appear to be still producing exact replicas. I believe the cars have grand names such as Premier and Ambassador. I'll bet if you wanted a part for your DL1 your BSA Bantam or your Morris Oxford you would find it in India! They are still manufacturing clarinets utilising pre-standardized pitch (i.e. A=440) and the 13 keyed "Albert" system. Lawrence Bradley, Tacoma, WA, USA
